For those of you who don’t know me well. I was born in Beirut-Lebanon in 1974, daughter of Anis and Mona. I started ballet school at age 6 stayed there for 8 years, moved on to horse riding for another three years, and didn’t see a gym until a friend took me to one in 1991. I felt like a total stranger between all those big body-builders and machines. My friend also started showing me muscle magazines and motivated me to add lifting weights as part of a fitness regimen. I discovered the iron world, I kept working out and I appreciated the effect it had on both my mind and my body. I didn’t know what was the right food for me to eat but I knew it had to be an important component so I thought why not get a degree in fitness and nutrition also! I left Beirut in 1995 for Paris where I earned my sports bachelor and my first aid certificate ”the French red cross”. Next, I studied in Santa-Barbara, California where I did performance nutrition with the ISSA ‘International Sports and Science Association’, in 1998 I went to Cleveland Ohio to graduate in Exer-therapy, personal training and cardio-vascular training from the NAHF ‘National academy for health and fitness’, in 2001. I fell more in love with the iron world, so I started grabbing any occasion to have a training session in any gym possible around the world. I was fortunate enough to meet many different fitness professionals through the years during workouts in Germany, Spain, Italy, Paris, Nice, Cannes, and of course Arlington, Houston, San-Diego, … Over time, I felt I had a message to pass on, that I wanted everybody to discover and know the benefits weight lifting could have on their lives. This is why I decided to go back to where it all started and have my own personal training gym in Beirut-Lebanon… Keep track cause the best is yet to come. |
